Marking the release of her new album Pluto, 'The Stone' might be Maja Lena's most accomplished single to date. Full of wonder and a sense of discovery, Lena fuses elements of traditional folk, dreampop and psych-rock effortlessly, executing tumbling vocal melodies atop of carefully intertwined guitar work. Giving insight on the lyrics, ""The Stone" is set in another imagined landscape, and is about my relationship to my creativity and work," Lena explains. "I tend to set unachievable goals and standards for myself, and this can ultimately lead to feelings of defeat and failure."
